Industrial Fibreglass Solutions Limited (IFS) operates from a spacious 1000m² factory located in Timaru, New Zealand. We produce a wide range of composite fibreglass products using various manufacturing processes, including hand lay-up, spray lay-up, closed resin transfer molding (RTM), vacuum bagging, and vacuum infusion.

Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with all the modern plant and equipment required to produce high-quality composite fibreglass products. This includes large curing rooms, ventilated spray booths, a machine shop, a large flat panel mold, trimming and grinding booths, dedicated finishing and assembly areas, as well as ample space for specific one-off large or small-scale projects.

IFS undertakes a wide range of projects and has a proven track record of completing large and complex composite fibreglass products to the highest quality standards. Our work encompasses design through to manufacture, utilizing resources such as 3D modeling, 3/5 axis CNC routers, and our full workshop, combined with our highly experienced craftsmen. Our team is also proficient in repairs, onsite works, and complex installations. We have the capability to handle projects of any size, from small custom jobs to large-scale technical projects, ensuring that we meet the unique needs of each client.

Simon Robb

Simon Robb is the Managing Director of Industrial Fibreglass Solutions, where he oversees company management, sales, design, and large projects. With over 20 years of experience in the composites industry, Simon has been involved in numerous projects, earning recognition for his technical skills and industry knowledge. He is dedicated to driving the growth and innovation of Industrial Fibreglass Solutions, ensuring the delivery of exceptional composite solutions to clients. Known for his can-do attitude, Simon inspires his team to achieve excellence in every job they complete. Simon also serves as the Vice President of the Composites Association of NZ.

Ryan Blackie

Ryan Blackie oversees workshop operations, purchasing, and quality control at Industrial Fibreglass Solutions. Starting out in the composites industry “on the tools” in 1998, Ryan worked his way up to become a level 4 qualified composite engineer. With over 27 years of experience, including 20 years in hands-on management roles, Ryan has gained invaluable knowledge from a wide range of projects. His expertise spans boat and yacht construction to heavy industrial and corrosion market applications. Known for setting a high standard for the team, Ryan ensures that every project meets a high quality benchmark, making him a key asset to the team.
